Engagement lift — and why the number is honest
What lift measures, the three states it can show, and why Crezio won't show a number it can't stand behind.
The Lift tab answers the hardest question in creator analytics: is this actually working? It measures how your engagement is doing after you started with Crezio, against your own baseline from before — not against anyone else, and not against a number we'd like to sell you.
What lift measures
Crezio marks the moment you started — your first Crezio post — and compares the engagement of everything you've published since against your own "before" baseline. The marker sits right on the chart, so you can see the before and the after with your own eyes.
Because it's measured against your history, a lift number can't be inflated by a big following or a lucky viral spike. It only moves when your typical post does better than your typical post used to.
Why the number is sometimes not a number
This is the part most tools hide, and the part we're proudest of. Depending on how much data there is, the Lift tab shows one of three honest states:
- A firm number (e.g. +14%) — enough posts on both sides of the marker to be confident. A real before-and-after.
- "Trending up / down — not yet conclusive" — the direction is clear, but the sample is still too thin to commit to a hard percentage. You get the honest signal without fake precision.
- "Data accumulating" — not enough yet to say anything responsible. Keep posting; it fills in.
No number isn't a bug
If the tab won't show a percentage yet, nothing is broken — Crezio just won't print a number until it's a fair one. A blank here is the honesty working, not a failure.
What's a good lift?
Typically 10–20%, and it compounds the longer you run — each month of learning what your audience rewards stacks on the last. We deliberately under-promise here: a tool that anchors you to 30–40% turns a genuinely strong 15% result into a felt disappointment. Crezio would rather quietly beat a modest expectation than loudly miss a hyped one.
Think of the workflow itself as the floor — knowing what works before you post — and lift as the upside that grows.
The Honesty Check
Beside the number, an Honesty Check spells out exactly what went into it — how many posts, over what window, on each side of the marker — so you can audit the claim instead of taking it on faith. Same principle as the three states: show the work, never inflate.
