Content DNA
Which post won is trivia. Why it won is a recipe.
Every platform’s analytics can tell you which of your videos won. None of them can tell you why. Content DNA is Crezio’s answer to the why — a label built automatically for every post you publish, 15+ dimensions deep. This page is how that label gets made, and what becomes sayable once it exists.
01 · The label
A nutrition label, for your videos.
Two snacks can look identical on the shelf, but the label tells you what is actually inside — and once you can read labels, you stop guessing about what agrees with you. When Crezio analyses a post it doesn’t just log the view count. It breaks the video down across what the content actually is:
- The hook
- Your opening move. A shocking stat? A question? A story?
- The tone
- Punchy and direct, warm and conversational, teacherly, playful.
- The angle
- The vantage point you speak from — insider sharing secrets, beginner learning out loud, expert breaking things down.
- The call to action
- What you ask viewers to do at the end, and how hard you ask.
- Structure and pacing
- Listicle or narrative, quick cuts or a single take, how fast you get to the point.
…plus a dozen more subtle traits along the same lines. No single dimension is magic. The power is in the combination. The full breakdown lives in the docs.
02 · One dimension, up close
A hook type isn’t a tag. It’s a mechanism.
Your hook is the first few seconds that decide whether someone stays or scrolls — the single highest-leverage part of any short-form video, which is why Crezio tracks it as its own dimension. Six openers cover most of what works. Each one is doing a different job to your viewer’s attention, and knowing which job is what makes the label worth reading.
Stat-shock
92% of creators quit before their tenth video.
A specific, counterintuitive figure creates an instant gap — wait, really? The viewer stays to close it.
Question
What would you do if your best video got zero views tomorrow?
A direct question recruits the viewer into the video. They are not watching your answer; they are checking it against theirs.
Story
So I’m standing in the studio at 2am, and the client calls…
An unresolved scene is an open loop, and people find it genuinely hard to leave a story unfinished.
How-to
Here’s how I script a week of content in 40 minutes.
The value is explicit from second one. The viewer knows exactly what staying earns them.
Myth-bust
Posting every day is actually hurting your channel.
Disagreement demands resolution — especially when the myth is advice the viewer is currently following.
Before-after
Six months ago: 200 followers. Today: 40,000. Here’s what changed.
The gap between the two states is the story, and the viewer stays for the bridge.
Which one should you use? The honest answer is the ones your audience rewards — and every creator’s ranking is different, which is the entire reason the label has to be read against your own results rather than someone else’s. Every hook type, with worked examples.
03 · Why it changes the answer
Once every video has a label, you stop learning which videos win.
You start learning which flavours win — for you, with your audience. That is the whole shift, and it is only available on the other side of labelling every post.
A view count says
That video did well.
Trivia about the past. True, and there is nothing you can do with it tomorrow.
Content DNA says
Your audience rewards question hooks, delivered warm, with a soft ask.
A recipe. Three dimensions of one label, read against your own results — and a sentence you can act on before you film anything.
A sentence like that is not a phrasing choice. It is writable only because every post you published carries a label, and labels can be counted. It is also why the same hook that works for a fitness creator may flop for a finance one — Content DNA is always read against your results, never someone else’s.
04 · What it asks of you
Nothing. You never tag a single post.
There is no taxonomy to learn, no folder structure to maintain, no discipline to keep up. Crezio builds the label for every post automatically while it analyses your account, and keeps building one for every post you publish after that. What happens during the analysis.
Stop guessing. Meet your algorithm.
Your recent posts already contain the answer. Free, about eight minutes, no card — and it puts you in line for the closed beta at founding pricing.
